The divide between north and south is wider than it has been since the 1980s. Poverty is a truly global problem which needs to be addressed through innovation and compassion.
We need to stop thinking in terms of scarcity. There are enough resources in our world, nobody should need to sleep tonight without adequate food, shelter or health facilities.
