“Each brain has a hundred billion neurons, each neuron connected to ten thousand other neurons. Sitting on your shoulders is the most complicated object in the known Universe” Michio Kaku, famous physicist
Our thoughts and actions are born in the abyss of our subconsious minds. Behind every decision we make are a myriad of unconscious thoughts which we are not even aware of typically. Beliefs that have been embedded below the surface shape our attitudes towards those close to us, and even to society and life itself.
When we rely on our intuition, our instincts, our gut feelings we are in fact relying on the influence of our conditioning. To be free, to liberate our minds we need to learn to transcend this programming. We can only truly know our authentic likes and preferences once we carve away our educational, social, media influence plus the conditioning derived from our friends and family. Then we can reveal the true sculpture of our personality.
To lift the veil from our unconscious we need to identify the anchors in the form of previous events or information which dictate our reactions today. For example, those who have panic attacks from flying may well know that their fear is irrational but cannot re-submerge the instinct arising from their subconscious. Although, the conscious may know that flying is statistically the safest form of travel it cannot disempower the unconscious waves arising which send them into panic.
We need to remember. We need to mentally retrace the circumstances which imprinted on our subconscious memory, and then erase the inappropriate anchors. Anchors are triggers to reactive behaviours. So that we may get angry when somebody says something innocuous in a particular way because it triggers a negative childhood memory. These anchors cannot be removed by inner dialogue as some psychologists presuppose but by bringing them to the surface like pollution rising to the top of the sea ready to be disposed of.
Mystics have always recognised the need for watchfulness over our thoughts. The world as we see it and know it is akin to a radio channel sitting on a particular frequency. However, untold similar frequencies or parallel worlds exist in the same time and space. And different elements of our being co-exist concurrently in these different dimensions. The chakras referred to in the East are cross dimensional portals through which the physical interacts with finer worlds only know being recognised by contemporary science.
The unconscious is directly accessed via the so called third eye, central to the eyebrows, located at the upstart of the forehead. Once the energetic structure of the third eye is stimulated the pineal and pituitary glands lying behind it are activated. This is the spiritual science of sciences.
