Politicians no longer have the vision to lead us. Instead we are being managed like numbers on a computer screen. They have forgotten that we are thinking, feeling human beings capable of pain and suffering. Each of us is unique, never in the future will there ever be, never in human history has there been another like you. There is therefore fewer more noble objectives than the exaltation of the individual. The unfolding of each of us to the grandest possibility of what he or she can be. To the realisation of our fullest potential.

Humankind is more than current global political and economic systems are allowing us to be. Whereas science and technology has advanced to the point that fundamental human and sociological transformation is feasible, the Machiavellian nature of politics has proscribed our human horizons and development. Politics has created a consumption driven economic animal almost devoid of spiritual content. Yet the primordial human impulse is to desire life, grow and progress. The human spirit is indomitable. We are not so much human bodies with a soul, but rather a soul which has decided to inhabit a human vehicle.

Transhumanism is tomorrow’s paradigm here today. It is the understanding that we are evolving not only biologically but in consciousness. It is the idea that humanity is not only in flux, but that humanity has a destination. The merging of robotics and microchip technology with the human condition known as the Singularity will open doors to the prospect of super humanity. It is time we refined our political concepts and forms of governance to release our human potential rather than hinder it.

This means facilitating each of us to be masters of our own destiny. Redesigning our education system to not create merely better consumers , but opening avenues to lead us to a more progressive realisation of how new scientific milestones can be a catalyst to both a holistically minded human being and greater global society.
